This is a picture of my newest piece of art in my office.
(I got it at Ikonick, a very cool store for fun canvas art. I especially enjoy their art about money and business.)
I love that prescription.
Take one stack of money by the hundred twice daily. Each stack of money is worth $10,000. And you get unlimited refills. Nice!
That’s a prescription for money and happiness that puts a big smile on my face. 😊
And even if money doesn’t buy happiness, I’ll take my chances… and stock up on some money just in case.
To me, stocking up on money means putting some portion of your focus and energies on growing your net worth.
Here is a wonderful quote from Zig Ziglar:
“Money isn’t everything. But it ranks right up there with oxygen.”
You won’t last long without oxygen. That’s why every airline flight you are on includes the instruction that in the case of an emergency: “Put your mask on before assisting others.” You aren’t going to be much use to others if you are passed out in your seat for lack of oxygen.
In business money is the oxygen, the fuel, of business. No money, no business. Period!
Some people think there is too much emphasis on money in business. I don’t believe that is true, at least not in the world of small to medium size businesses.
You would be wise to make sure you know exactly where your profitability and cash flow (your money) is headed. Your business, and all the customers and employees counting on you, will be very happy that you did.
Try the prescription from the money doctor and see if it brings you happiness… or just a stronger net worth. Either way, you will be much healthier. 😊
