Do you ever feel like certain parts of your business are out of control?
Here’s a great quote from B.C. Forbes, "A business, like an automobile, has to be driven in order to get results.”
It’s important to step back, take a deep breath, and say out loud to yourself “I’m the driver! I have more control and influence over where my company is going than it feels like at this moment”.
And even when things are pretty much under control, it’s important to be working constantly on improving your profitability and cash flow. That requires you to drive those results. That requires you to set targets, monitor results and adjust your tactics as necessary.
You also need to drive accountability down to the people in your company who are responsible for delivering those results.
Remember, you are the driver in your business, not the passenger.
